I had one of these for 7 years and it was great. Eventually the lower elements stopped working. I was surprised to learn that Hamilton Beach doesn't offer replacement parts or repair locations. Local appliance repair people make expensive household calls only and couldn't find a tinkerer. So after researching other ovens, I decided to get another Hamilton beach anyway because of it's great dimensions, length of timer, simplicity of controls, power, price etc. I get the new one and the door is on crooked. Also, the front edge screws were in crooked and not in all the way. The oven is designed to have some space between the front glass and the frame but I'm talking about a crooked door with 1/2 inch difference from left to right that I could look down through to the inside of the oven without opening the door. My old one, which I still had to compare to, had nothing of the sort. And the last thing I wanted was chipping an expensive enameled cast iron pot on a cheap screw. I called up...

Hamilton Beach Convection Toaster Oven
This is the best buy I've made in years. I haven't tried the rotisserie yet but the straight oven and the convection oven work beautifully.
Cheap peace of junk
I bought this oven because we are on propane and wanted to cut down on propane consumption. I was so excited to see that they offered such a big oven for the price. Used the oven twice and the third time I put some garlic toast in it and all the sudden it smelled like an electrical fire. I ran straight to the oven and the timer knob wouldn't function and it was just ticking away and I would try to turn it off and it just stayed on. Obviously the mechanism broke on the timer but come on after only 2 uses. I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of trying to ship it back and get somethng else so I threw it in the trash. That's the only thing I hate about shopping online, the HASSLE of returning something. I wouldn't bother with this unit and I will also never buy anything that this brand makes again. JUNK!!
