Good buy
Although I expected the unit to have a heat regulating dial, I decided to try the grill out anyway.
Well, it performed as expected. I bought two since I have a family of five.
My kids love Raclette night because they get to cook their own food.
We have used it twice now and has been a great addition to our family fun night. The only wish is that it came with tongs and spatulas.
Other than that, great grill for the money!

Missing the heating dial
I am giving this product 3 stars because I can't speak to its functionality. Before I even thought about firing it up, I noticed that it was lacking the all-important heating dial that is shown in the images in the product description and that is also normally included with a traditional raclette anyway. I utilized amazon's awesomely easy and speedy return procedure, and it will be out of here on Monday. I hope to find a replacement at a later time, but my New Year's party plans will now have to be modified a bit.

This Raclette arrived into my country Ecuador, It didn't even turn on !!!!
I really lost my money.....
The quality is not good, but if at least it works!!!
Now I have to send it to fix here, spend more money cause to send it back to the States will cost me more that a $100 dollars.
So bad.
