Great food processor, poor quality buttons
I have had Cuisinart food processors for 30 years, and has loved them! Bought this one 2 years ago to replace by 25+ year old model which was smaller and had cracked bowls. The unit works great, except for the buttons. After a year of regular use, the film on the buttons cracked, and it wasn't long before they just peeled off. Now, even the slightest moisture gets in and shorts out the buttons. Unit now has to be unplugged to stop it. I'm going back to the old level-type of controls! If you notice, the cooking stores are not carrying models with these buttons anymore either.

Scond one purchased
I liked mine so much that I bought one more as a gift. They are especially suited for those who already have a smaller one but at times need the bigger size. It is regrettable, however, that all the products we need and want seemed to be made in China. Wont you, please try to make that known in the advertizement for those to whom it matters.
WORST food processor I've ever owned
I hate this food processor. I don't even think I can describe how much I hate using this food processor, but I'm going to try. I owned three food processors prior to buying this one and this is the most expensive one I have owned yet, but it is by far the most inferior. The blades are too low in the bowl, so it has trouble chopping up simple chicken, even when I've learned to put the chicken on the bottom of the bowl. I can't tell you how many times I have had to put the bowl back on the base (which is very difficult when there is still quite a bit of food in the food processor) to try blending everything together again. I always use liquid in the bowl, too, but it's an incredibly fine line between what I know is enough liquid and too much.

Oh, and when you are blending things, make sure you keep your hand on top of the bowl to hold the whole unit down as it is prone to bouncing - and if it bounces, it spews crap everywhere.

The only reason I still use this food...
